Local Mission and OutreachThanksgiving Meal Donation
Shalom provides turkey and trimmings to people in the local community who are in need. Information is collected and donations gathered and shared with those who call the Shalom office @ 734-878-6859 throughout the month of October. Shalom will do its best to provide donations to all individuals making a request. Clothing Closet Shalom Life Church's Free Clothing Closet is located on our main campus at 1740 E. M-36 in Pinckney, Michigan. The church is offering free clothing on specific dates and times for both children and adults. The free clothing will be located in the main building during the Winter (January through April) and in the “blue house” at the back of the church parking lot during Spring, Summer, and Early Fall (May-November). For more information, please contact the church office 734-878-6859. We are open the second Saturday of the month through the Winter and the second Saturday and the fourth Wednesday from May through November. The times for Saturday are 9:30am-12pm and Wednesdays from 5pm-7pm. NOTE: CLOTHING MAY ONLY BE DROPPED OFF THE FIRST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH. THANKS! |
Global PartnershipsCosta Rica 2024
In 2024, Shalom will establish a new international partnership with 68 Ministries in Costa Rica. A team will travel to the country to work in feeding centers, children's ministry centers, and many other opportunities to be the hands and feet of Jesus while seeing God at work around the world. Tanzania Shalom is currently involved with our Southeast Michigan Synod’s task force on Tanzania! For more information about the ELCT, visit their website. |
