What to Expect
Here at Shalom we want everyone to feel welcome and at home!
Our church atmosphere is about love, acceptance, and discovering who we are in Christ together. Many people wonder about the "attire" before they check out a church. Wanna wear jeans and a t-shirt? Go for it! Are you more comfortable in a three-piece suit? Be our guest! On Sundays, we offer two service times and styles. At 9:00am, our Traditional service meets. This service offers traditional elements of Lutheran worship, including: organ, brass ensembles, traditional hymns, reading and teaching of the Scriptures, and Holy Communion. At 10:30am, our Modern service meets. This service is a modern style worship service with band led worship music, inspiring messages, and Holy Communion each week. Sundays are our time to celebrate! We hope you'll join us! |

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH:
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible – a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.
