Envelope Campaign

Please be sure to visit our youth in the lobby & participate in any way you are able in our Envelope Campaign. Our youth wouldn’t be able to go on mission trips & significant faith experiences without your generous financial and prayer support!

We have an exciting summer of youth missions in 2017. From July 14th-21st, 11 youth and 2 adults will be on a Youthworks Mission trip in Brooklyn, NY; from July 22nd-28th, 3 high school youth and 1 adult will attend Bridge Builders leadership training at Stony Lake Lutheran Camp in New Era, Michigan.

Please pray for us while we’re away. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on what we’re up to on social media & share our stories when we return. Thank you for your support of Shalom Youth!

The summer has finally arrived and with it comes graduation parties, family reunions, BBQ’s, bonfires, and a host of opportunities to gather with friends and family.  Shalom is teaming up with It Stops With Students to help remind our community that providing alcohol to minors is illegal.  Did you  know that 62.5% of Livingston County high school students reported “it is sort of easy” or “very easy” to get alcohol? (Michigan profile for healthy youth 2015-2016)  The penalties for providing alcohol to minors may include fines of up to $2,500 and/or up to 90 days in jail. Parent’s Who Host Lose The Most.  For more information please visit

You are invited to do a downward facing dog from 9:15 – 10:15am on Thursdays at Shalom! These sessions take place in the west wing of the building. Yoga mats and water bottles recommended. Cost is $5 per session.
