Current Fundraising Effort
Uganda Giving Tree!
We are having a collection of gifts for our partner schools in Uganda. We are collected donations for school supplies, classroom supplies like tables and chairs, and other items that are vital to giving children a good education. Our needed items can be found in the lobby at Shalom on our giving tree! Just take an ornament off the tree and bring back a check or cash and make sure to note what it is for (or return it with the ornament!)
Adopt a Family 2018!
Help us give families in need in the community a wonderful holiday season without stress! Sign up to purchase gifts for a family in the lobby at Shalom, or help us wrap presents at our Advent Family Night on the 19th of December! We also will need help delivering gifts, which you can also sign up to help with in the lobby or by calling the Shalom Office!

Building Houses in
Baja Mexico
Shalom is very active in our Mission & Outreach programs. We believe in spreading God’s love locally as well as to the ends of the earth. Our Baja House of Hope clothes many local families every month. The building is a replica of the homes that we have helped to build in Baja, Mexico for the working poor. We are also involved with Haiti, building Rain Catchers to provide water for families who would otherwise have to walk miles each day for it. Pastor Kurt has spent time preaching to the people of Africa. We are fund-raising to build a chicken farm in Uganda to support an orphanage for Christian children. We do a lot behind the scenes for local families providing anything and everything from food to beds to
appliances. When there is a need, we do our best to serve!
Here at Shalom we love Jesus and we value fun while doing the critical work of God. We have several annual outreach events that draw large crowds to Shalom. You won’t want to miss them! Some of the crowd favorites are: Trunk or Treat, The Easter Egg Drop and Journey to the Cross, Vacation Bible School, Super Bowl Spectacular and Chili Cook-off, Advent & Lenten Wednesday Dinners, various service trips, and The Light of the World Annual Silent Auction.
