Clothing Closet
The Clothing Closet is open to everyone. It is held on the last Saturday of every month from 10:00-12:00. We provide free clothing and welcoming smiles. There are also many opportunities to serve in this ministry. Contact Kim Larrow for details or to get involved (734) 426-2486.
The Midnight Run
Once a month we head out during the late evening to Detroit to feed the homeless. If you'd like to be part of this exciting ministry opportunity, contact Pastor Kurt in the Church Office or CLICK HERE to email him.

-National Outreach-New York City:
16 high school students and 5 adults from Shalom went on a mission trip to New York City from July 14 – 19, 2008. We spent a week providing food, clothing, love, dignity, company and conversation to the homeless and destitute of NYC. We worked with a variety of established mission’s organizations such as God’s Love We Deliver, the Raven Ministry at Times Square Church, The Midnight Run, and many more. Thank you for your prayers and support, it was a great experience for our youth.
Hurricane Katrina:
In the past we sent a number of groups down south to assist in the clean up efforts of Hurricane Katrina in Gulf Port, MS.
-World Outreach-Costa Rica 2009, 2010, 2011:
3 teams from Shalom have traveled to Costa Rica to serve God's people there.. While there they fed the poor, did Kid's Ministry, repaired homes and ministered to the locals of Alajuelita, Costa Rica. God moved in amazing ways as our teams served Him there!
